Here's my manicure for yesterday's Fridails. Our task this week was to create an inspired by fashion nail art, learn how I did these and see my souce of inspiration as well as more photos under the cut!

Dead Set Babes Pinky Swear swatches & review

As the indie polish market grows, so does the number of shops and stockists carrying them. Which is always a good news for someone not from the US or Australia (the 2 main indie centers, at least to my mind), or even outside the EU, for that matter. You know the impact the words 'we ship worldwide' without the following 'excluding...' have on you if you are a polish lover and you live in a country notorious for the way its post works. Rejoice, international fellow indie addicts, for now we have another place where our walets will lose weight significantly. Dazzled shop, launched in May 2013, located in Hong Kong, carries various brands, including A-England, Cirque, Happy Hands, Lac Attack, Shimmer Polish and other, and does indeed ship worldwide, and at quite a low rate! I have a selection of polish from the range to show to you, starting today, so let's jump to the prettiness, shall we? 

По мере того, как разрастается рынок инди-лаков, увеличивается и число магазинов, продающих их. Что всегда является хорошей новостью для тех, кто не живет в Америке или Австралии (на мой взгляд, два центра инди-движения). Вы знаете силу радости, которую вызывают слова "доставляем по всему миру" без продолжения в виде "исключая...", если живете в стране, печально известной работой ее почты. Возрадуйтесь, индиманьяки всего мира, теперь у нас есть еще один адрес, отправившись по которому, кошелек может существенно сбросить вес :) Магазин Dazzled, открытый в мае 2013 и расположенный в Гонг Конге, предлагает нам уже с десяток инди-марок, включая A-England, Cirque, Happy Hands, Lac Attack, Shimmer Polish, и да, отправляет лаки по всему миру, причем по довольно низкой цене. Я получила подборку лаков из ассортимента, так что в ближайшие дни будем смотреть красоту :)

Here's Dead Set Babes Pinky Swear, a glitter topper consisting of pastel baby pink and occasional fuchsia hexes and fuchsia and silver holo shimmer. Formula was fantastic, providing excellent, for my taste, glitter coverage after the first coat, so I stopped at it. Not top coat hungry at all, thus you can get away with a coat of your regular one, no need for the big guns like Gelous or SV if you don't use those on a regular basis. I chose to layer this over a contrasting undie, in this case Misa Dirty Sexy Money (2 coats), and ended up absolutely in love with the combo, so please bear with the probably excessive amount of photos (including a couple using my birthday flowers as a prop)!

Dead Set Babes Pinky Swear - это глиттерный топ, состоит из основной массы шестиугольников нежно-розового цвета, периодических вкраплений шестиугольников цвета фуксии, а также фуксиевого и голографического серебряного шиммера. Технические характеристики великолепны, один слой дает достаточное количество глиттера, на мой вкус, по крайней мере. Топ не съедает, можно обойтись слоем вашего обычного, тяжелую артиллерию типа Gelous или Seche Vite специально доставать не обязательно. Я решила сочетать этот лак с контрастирующей подложкой, в моем случае Misa Dirty Sexy Money в 2 слоя, и осталась настолько довольна результатом, что фотографий в этот раз, возможно, многовато, но ничего не могу с собой поделать :) Ну и как было не поддаться искушению использовать в качестве антуража цветочки со дня Рождения?

Shimmer Polish Lucie

Hey everyone!
Всем привет!

And yet another Shimmer to show to you today. Shimmer Lucie is a clear base packed with red squares and hexes, silver holo squares of 2 sizes and hexes plus silver holo shimmer. One coat is more than enough for a great glitter payoff, and I bet this polish can be completely opaque if you did 2. One coat of topcoat was all I needed to smooth the surface, and the polish was already dry by then. I used 2 coats of Misa Someone Like You as undie for this manicure.
И еще один Shimmer я покажу вам сегодня. Shimmer Lucie состоит из красных квадратиков и шестиугольников, серебряных голографических квадратиков двух размеров, шестиугольников и шиммера в прозрачной базе. Глиттера очень много, одного слоя в качестве декоративного топа абсолютно достаточно, готова поспорить, если сделать второй, то покрытие станет непрозрачным. Слой топа полностью выравнивает поверхность, причем ко времени его нанесения лак уже высыхает. В качестве подложки я использовала 2 слоя Misa Someone Like You.

31 days challenge. Day 3: yellow nails

Hi everyone! 

For day 3 i wanted to do something more than just paint my nails yellow. And then i remembered a manicure i saw a while ago and that i even have the same polishes that i've bought to recreate the manicure.

It's not entirely yellow, but i tried to leave at least 60% of the surface yellow. I'm using Misa Endless Keys and Misa Under My Sunbrella here, both are, respectively, warm yellow and tangerine orange shimmer/glimmer in correspondendly coloured jelly bases. They're not too opaque and i don't think they were meant to be. However, they open endless opportunities for layering, and this is exactly what i did here (i didn't use the sponge method for this gradient). 

For this manicure apply 2 coats of Under My Sunbrella over a base coat, then cover about half the nail (or more or less, depending on how do you want the colors to correlate) with Endless Keys, repeat on all nails, then cover your tips with another coat of Endless Keys, top it all with a coat of your favorite top coat (i'm using INM OTD, as usual) et voila!

3 down, 28 to go! Green nails tomorrow!

Misa Bed of Roses review and swatches

Hi everybody :) It's been quite a lot of time since i posted anything. I'm still fighting my peeling nails (almost done!), plus the weather has been changing lately here. Anyway, I had those photos of Misa's Bed of Roses sitting in my camera's memory card, and while I wish I had more swatches to show you, only these came out decent enough to be shared in the Internet.

I'm already dreaming of swatching 'em all, lol, even though the odds are little that I would win, but I'm always like that :D You should enter it, too, giveaways are fun! Bed of Roses screams 'jelly'. Seriously, it's so squishy and juicy! It's quite sheer, so i did 3 coats this time and i still could see a hint of my nail tip while in the sunlight.

I think I should have done thinner coats as I accidentally smudged out the polish on my right thumb while rearranging my books about 1,5 hours after finishing painting nails, so I wouldn't blame the polish for being too slow-drying. Well, it would be good if it did dry faster, but i'm not complaining :)

All in all, it's a wonderful polish, a very girl-ish pink. It's bright in the shadow, but the sunlight really enhancing its beauty making it 'glow' from the inside.
