Dance Legend Annihilation & Intergalactic swatches and review

I've always loved space-themed polishes. Even before I became a nail polish addict, I'd bought half of Orly Cosmic FX collection that was in stock of the shop I'd stopped by once. And when I discovered the world of nail polish that's not red or nude or purple, my love for cosmos in a bottle started to bloom. So, naturally, I was super excited when swatches of Dance Legend Round Space emerged into the internet, and positively thrilled when I received 2 shades for review. 

Я всегда любила "космические" лаки. Еще до начала лакоманьячества я купила половину коллекции Orly Cosmic FX в каком-то магазинчике. А уж когда горизонты моего представления о лаках перестали быть ограниченными красными, нюдами и фиолетовыми, моя любовь к космосу в пузырьке расцвела. Понятно, что я очень обрадовалась выходу коллекции Dance Legend Round Space, ну а получить хотя бы ее часть на тестирование - это вообще счастье. 

Dance Legend Provence collection (select shades) + Black Glitter base coat

Spring is around the corner (only 2 weeks to endure!), and it's time to start prepping your nails for it! A quick and fun way to do that is to throw a clear glitter top on your choice of base color, which was recognised by Dior, as part of their Spring 2015 collection is a pastel fine glitter in a clear base. Well guess what, our favorite Russian company Dance Legend already did that last year (you might want to check out Cactus, which I unfortunately don't have to show to you, but the Dior top coat reaaally reminds me of it)! The collection is called Provence, was obviously inspired by all things flowers and nature, and I have 4 polishes belonging to it to show to you!

В воздухе уже чувствуется весна (осталось терпеть всего 2 недели!), и пора готовить к ней наши ногти! Самый легкий способ освежить маникюр - нанести поверх выбранного базового цвета глиттерный топ. В этом году это дошло даже до тугодумов из Dior (с уважением отношусь к этому бренду, но выпустить магнитный лак спустя 3 года после того, как это сделали все - это сильно), и часть весенней коллекции лаков составляет как раз-таки мелкий пастельный глиттер в прозрачной базе. Но - сюрприз! - Dance Legend уже сделали это в прошлом году, выпустив целую коллекцию под названием Прованс. И новый Диор очень сильно напоминает лак под названием Cactus, которого у меня, правда, к сожалению, нет, но надеюсь, что кто-нибудь их сравнит :) Как очевидно из названия коллекции, создатели вдохновились красками природы, и сегодня я покажу вам 4 представителя.

I'm leaving on holiday today, and it's almost 4 am as I'm writing this, but I couldn't leave without giving you a review on Mortal Kombat collection, which is limited edition: only one thousand bottles of each of three shade comprising the collection was released. Let's get to them!

I cannot believe how hard it was to swatch this collection. So many obstacles in the way, and such a prettiness yet waiting to be posted. but here it is, my big fat karma duty finally fulfilled. 6 holo multichromes, and I believe, one of the first ones, released even before the holo+multichrome craze had ignited. Jewel tones are perfect for colder times, and when they come in the form of jelly polishes, I'm pretty sold. So when Dance Legend released their Glass collection, I was more than excited to try them out. 

Цвета, мимикрирующие под драгоценные камни, идеальны для холодного времени года. А когда в таких оттенках выпускаются лаки-желе, я уже почти покорена. Так что когда Dance Legend выпустили целую коллекцию Glass, я была более чем рада ее попробовать.

Dance Legend HallOWLeen by Anna Gorelova collection swatches and review

Halloween (and I had to restrain myself from inserting the "OWL" in the word) may be over, but pretty polishes released for the occasion remain! And today I would like to show you another collaboration between Dance Legend and Ukranian nail blogger Anna Gorelova. 

I would like to state at the very beginning that this is a limited edition collection - there were only 1000 bottles of each shade made. All three are still available at Dance Legend official website, and it is true that last time, when Dance Legend released a LE polish (Dance Legend Knight), some time it became sold out they brought it back by popular demand, but I cannot tell you for sure whether the history will repeat. Thus, I wouldn't think too long to secure the shades I like - I'm positive there are few than 1000 of each left, as they were sold at the biggest beauty industry expo in Russia, Intercharm, and I know a bunch of people who bought them personally - but I'm sure there were more. 

Хэллоуин (и теперь мне приходится удерживаться, чтобы не вставить слово "OWL" в это слово на английском), может, и прошел, зато нам осталось множество красивых лаков, выпущенных в честь этого праздника. И сегодня я хотела бы показать еще одну коллекцию Dance Legend, созданную в сотрудничестве с украинским нейл-блогером Анной Гореловой.

Я бы сразу хотела сообщить, что эта коллекция лимитированная - всего было выпущено по 1000 экземпляров каждого из 3 лаков. И хотя вся троица до сих пор доступна на официальном сайте Dance Legend, хотя в прошлый раз, когда компания выпустила лимитированный лак (Dance Legend Knight), спустя некоторое время после того, как он был полностью распродан, в связи с большим спросом на него была выпущена дополнительная партия, я не могу с уверенностью сказать, что на этот раз история повторится. Так что если какой-то представитель коллекции вас зацепил, я бы не стала долго ждать и размышлять, если вы боитесь его упустить. Известно, что эта коллекция продавалась на крупнейшей выставке бьюти-индустрии в России, то есть на Интершарме; и я лично знаю людей, которые покупали как отдельные экземпляры, так и коллекцию полностью, хотя, естественно, покупателей на самом деле было намного больше, чем те, о которых известно мне.

Fridails: Tribal print

Tribal print was supposed to be done back at the end of February-beginning of March, put we decided to put it off until warmer temperatures, as all of us perceived this design as something summer-y. And now the time has come!

Маникюры с этническими узорами мы должны были делать еще в конце февраля-начале марта, но решили отложить эту тему до более теплого времени года, поскольку всем из нас эта тема казалась летней. Но вот настало и ее время!

Dance Legend Tinsel swatches and review

Dance Legend Tinsel is a part of Candy Flakes collection, a brilliant green jelly with trnasluscent multichrome green to yellow to orange flakies. Out of the 3 polishes I recieved for review from this collection I found Tinsel to be the most pigmented, which allowed me to weaк it without undies. The finish is generally smooth, with only a bit of texture from the flakies, which is easily concealed with a coat of topcoat. I do recommend a peel-off basecoat for non-hassle removal - while flakies are not as painful to get rid of as glitter, they still can be a pain in the ass.

Dance Legend Tinsel - часть коллекции Candy Flakes, желе цвета зеленки с полупрозрачной мультихромной зеленой слюдой, имеющей желто-оранжевый отлив. Из 3 лаков, полученных мной на обзор из этой коллекции, Tinsel оказался наиболее пигментированным, что позволило мне носить его без подложки. Родной финиш в целом гладкий: хотя некоторая текстурность от слюды присутствует, она без труда маскируется слоем топа. В целом под этот лак и под коллекцию я все же рекомендую использовать пил-офф базу: глиттер, конечно, оттирать еще сложнее, но и слюда снимается далеко не так просто, как кремы и желе без включений.

Fake Tattoos Nail Water Decals review

Water nail decals are one of the easiest way to spice up a plain nail color. They're no news as they've existed for a long time - I can remember my joy when my mom let me have one transferred on to my 5-year-old nails by a nail tech during her manicure appointment I was allowed to watch, when I wanted to get a manicure too. Since then, I still wasn't allowed to paint my nails, but nail decals were ok, and I would quite often take advantage of that. Years have passed, my passion for nails has developed into a stash of 500+ bottles of nail polish and a box of nail art supplies, and nail decals are still something I like to have on my nails from time to time. 

One of the numerous brands offering nail art decals are Fake Tattoos, who are a British company and offer not only nail tattoos, but also body tattoos and even custom ones! They ship worldwide at affordable rates.  

I received two designs from them, Ocean and Hearts & bow. They come in a plastic bags, containing a how-to guide and the decals themselves.

Продукт этот - отнюдь не инновация, и на рынке существуют уже очень долгое время - помню, как я была рада, когда мама разрешила маникюрше нанести мне, пятилетней, такую переводилку на ноготь, когда я стала канючить, чтобы мне тоже сделали маникюр :) C тех пор мне все еще нельзя было красить ногти, но слайдерам был дан зеленый свет, ими я и развлекалась все детство. Прошли годы, любовь к ногтям переросла в коллекцию в более 500 бутылочек лака для ногтей и коробку принадлежностей для нейл-арта, а слайдеры все так же пришлись ко двору, и до сих пор я питаю к ним нежные чувства.

Celestial Cosmetics core holos swatches and review

I'm back from my vacation - which I'm honestly sad about - and to blogging - the more exciting part! 

Today I have 3 new holos by Australian brand Celestial Cosmetics to show to you. These 3 colors are among 7 new polishes recently added to the core line. All swatches show polish with a coat of basecoat and without topcoat.
