Monday Blues: Butter LONDON Victoriana

Hey everyone!

As you may or may not know, for the past week we've been celebrating Maslenitsa in Russia, which is a Slavic pagan holiday dedicated to the end of winter and approachal of spring. One of the most reknown traditions is making pancakes, and since my mom burnt her arm last week, I was the only one who could do that. So I was cooking and learning at the same time (yess, hello, I'm Yulia, I'm 18 years old and I couldn't make pancakes until the day before yesterday). All went well, they came out tasty and I didn't even burn a single one, but somehow I managed to cut 2 of my fingers on a MIXER. And one of the cuts is right at the base of the nail of my ring finger. Which means no remover and no nail polish and, of course, no taking photos of that hand. Which is my swatching one. LOSER.

Thus, this week I'm blogging about an oldie blue. This mani dates from January, and to be honest I miss that nail length a lot :c Butteк LONDON Victoriana is a strongly blue-leaning medium teal with silver shimmer. It's one of the easiest to apply polish I've encountered up to date, bearing the one-coater qualities. I used two out of habit. However, do not use topcoat with it! It really dulls the shimmer. I made that mistake, so I had to apply the third coat to restore the original textured look.
