Vertasile Blogger & Liebster Awards

Hi everyone!

I've been nominated for 2 awards, Vertasile Blogger Award and Liebster Award, by, respectively, Nail Polish Creations and In-The-Red Nails - thank you, lovely ladies! Now it's my turn to give a shoutout for some talented new kids on the block, and i happily oblige.

These are the rules for Vertasile Blogger award:

1. Nominate 15 fellow bloggers who are relatively new to blogging.
2. Let them know that you have nominated them.
3. Share 7 random facts about yourself.
4. Thank the bloggers who have nominated you.
5. Add the Versatile Blogger Award picture to your post.

And these - for the Liebster Award:

1. The recipient must post 11 fun fact about themselves.
2. The recipient must also answer 11 questions created by the award giver.
3. The recipient must give the award to 11 new bloggers with less than 200 followers and post 11 questions for them to answer.
4. These 11 bloggers must be told they have been given the award.
5. They will in turn pass the award to 11 new bloggers of their choice (no tagging back the award giver.)

So i'm gonna merge the rules for the two awards, if you don't mind :3

11 fun facts about me:
1. I have more than 25 mint nail polish, all of them purchased. I think i might be obsessed :D Teal/turquoise comes close second :)
2. I have a labrador, and his full name is Maurice Mocco-Morocco. The breeder named him so! He goes by Maurice and a gazillion of nicknames.
3. When i was a little girl, i wanted to become a chemist to create my own makeup. While i was too little to have real cosmetics, i used raspberry as lipstick and flower pollen as eyeshadow. Thank God i'm not allergic to anything!
4. I can cook quite well, but i'm too lazy to cook anything but spaghetti if i need something to me. When it comes to cooking dinner for my parents, nothing can stop me!
5. I initially started this blog as a nails AND beauty one, but, as you might have noticed, nail polish has taken over it.
6. I've been learning English since the age of 4, and French for the past 3 years.
7. My dream city is San Fransisco, and i really hope to work and live there one day.
8. I can play the piano and sing, but due to being hyperactive and sometimes anxious i can't perform in front of a large audience. For example, the moment i saw the conference hall of my university (it can fit 1500 persons) i knew i wouldn't manage to sing in front of all those people, so i called my performance off.
9. I have really shaky hands, so you can imagine what a pain nail are can sometimes be for me (especially on my right hand)! Still, i find it super fun, and i don't care if i do it twice as slow as everyone else so as not to mess it up. Plus, nothing can replace this sense of achievement when you've finished the nail art, and your nails look gorgeous (modesty is not my best trait of character ;D)
10. I have quite a perverted sense of humour, and one of my most favorite comedies is 'Death Becomes Her'.
11. I'm a language, book and cinema nerd. I love me puns (this is why i love OPI nail polishes - they have the funniest names!), and i'm currently obsessed with historical novels (my favorite setting in the moment is the Ancient Rome), for example, Kate Quinn's Mistress Of Rome. As for movies, my favorites include A Beautiful Mind, King Arthur, Pearl Harbor, The Gladiator, The Dark Knight saga and many other masterpieces.

In-The-Red Nails' questions for me:

1. What made you start blogging? - I had a little more than 30 bottles of nail polish when i stumbled upon a russian livejournal community about nail polish and was instatly in love with the whole thing. It was not before long that i learnt about nail blogs, i started taking photos of my manicures and i needed a place to unleash them. Vicerimus has become one.
2. What do you like most about blogging? - There are so many things about it, but i love it that it's quite easy and fast (i need about 10-15 minutes to take enough pictures for my blog, since i'm using natural light, although i'm going to try a home-made lightbox, since winter is coming *feeling like Ned Stark from Game of Thrones here*, and soon by the time i will be returning home it will have already grown dark). It's also a great way for me to let the creative impulse out. I used to be an iconmaker on LiveJournal, and when i gave it up, i needed a new hobby. Here i am now :)
3. Do you have any other blogs or websites? No, not really.
4. How often do you post? To my shame, irregularily, but i'm working on that :)
5. What is your favorite nail polish? I suggest you check out my stash, because i love them all equally. If i don't like a nail polish, i get rid of it (give away to a friend to sell it).
6. What's your favorite base and top coat? I've recently returned to a Russian basecoat 'Smart Enamel' 3-in-1, after worsening the state of my nails with Nail Tek Foundation II. As for top coat, i'm faithful to INM Out The Door.
7. Do you use a nail treatment, if so what kind? The basecoat i'm using is designed to nourish nails and strengthen them; i'm also sealing my nails with castor oil each time i'm changing nail polish, because i'm told it stops peeling & helps your nails glow longer and stronger.
8. Where do you buy your nail polish? mostly online, since the selection of nail polish in Russia is quite poor, and it's ridiculously expensive!
9. How many bottles of polish do your currently own? A whopping 224, not including base- and topcoats (like INM OTD, i'm counting top coat effects like flecks, shimmer etc.)!
10. What's your favorite nail design? I'm in love with fishtail braid, gradient manicure and stamping - i wish i could have the Bundle Monster plates, but they wouldn't ship to Russia :((!
11. Do you have any other hobbies? Singing, playing the piano, sewing, writing, etc.

Blogs i nominate for both awards (i know, i'm supposed to nominate 11 for the second, but more is better, than less!):
