I received some Entity nail polish for review some time ago. I believe they're more famous for their soak-offs, however I've been keeping this blog regular nail polish-only, and plan on doing so in the future, so what I have to show to you today is 5 colors by the company.
Некоторое время назад я получила на обзор несколько лаков фирмы Entity. Компания более известна своими гель-лаками, но поскольку профиль моего блога - лаки обыкновенные, и пока я не планирую этого менять, то 5 таких представителя Entity я и покажу.
First up is Pearl Orange, which is pretty namesake, a bright orange with a pearl finish. I'm not a fan of the finish, since it's notorious for being very brushstrokey, including this one, but it's sure not the worst I've seen. However, I would've loved to see a better formula. The polish is quite watery and prone to patches, resulting into me having to do 3 coats, and the 4th wouldn't hurt. Dry time would've been average, had you not had to do more than 2 coats. No topcoat here.
Первый - Pearl Orange, в общем-то названием все исчерпывается. Довольно яркий оранжевый перламутр. От текстуры самой по себе я не в восторге из-за свойственных ей видимых полос от кисти, но данный экземпляр - далеко не самое худшее из того, что я видела. Тем не менее, не порадовала формула лака: лак как будто водянистый, склонный к образованию проплешин и норовящий затечь, куда не надо, в итоге мне пришлось нанести 3 слоя, и, честно сказать, четвертый бы не повредил. Скорость высыхания лака можно было бы назвать средней, но пирог из более, чем 2 слоев ее значительно уменьшает. На фото без топа.
Next is Pearl Turquoise, which is more of an azure blue with delicate pearl shimmer rather than true turquoise, but still a beautiful color. This was ever so slightly brushstrokey, but almost on the invisible side. You can achieve smooth and opaque surface after 2 coats, which is what you see on the pics. This was my favorite of the batch. No topcoat.
Следующий - Pearl Turquoise. Это скорее лазурный синий с деликатным перламутровым шиммером, чем настоящая бирюза, но цвет все равно красивый. Следы от кисти на поверхности остаются, но они почти незаметны. Непрозрачное и равномерное покрытие получается уже после 2 слоев, что и передано на фото. Из полученных лаков этот понравился мне больше всех. Без топа.
Pearl Violet was the first polish I tried out, prior to swatching the rest of shades, hence the difference in nail length and lighting. This is an eggplant pearl with formula similar to Pearl Orange, except for that I managed to get away with 2 coats with this one. The third one wouldn't have hurt, though. No topcoat.
Pearl Violet был первым оттенком, опробованным мной еще до того, как я села за свотчи остальных оттенков, из-за этого разница в длине и освещении. Это баклажановый перламутр, по консистенции схож с Pearl Orange, но мне удалось укротить его в 2 слоя. Третий, тем не менее, лишним не станет. Без топа.
Metallic Burgundy corresponds with the name ideally. Formula was very thin, and the first coat came out extremely patchy, however, much to my surprise, the surface was evened out by the second one. I think I should have applied the third to make sure the photos would depict what I saw in real life - i can see hints of patches on a couple of fingers, but they were invisible to my eye until I saw the photos on the screen of my laptop. Luckily, no brushstrokes for this shade (you know metallics like to leave them, too). No topcoat, either.
Metallic Burgundy идеально соответствует названию - металлик винного цвета. Формула лака очень жидкая, и первый слой получился крайне плешивым, однако, к моему большому удивлению, второй все исправил, сделав поверхность непрозрачной. Я думаю, что должна была нанести третий, чтобы удостовериться, что на фотографиях будет то же, что и в жизни - а на фото я вижу намеки на плеши на паре пальцев, которых на руках при фотографировании не видела. Без топа.
Finally, Metallic Dark Cinnamon is a rich reddish brown metallic. Apllication and formula were the same as with Metallic Burgundy. I think this is a great color for fall, making the polish my second favorite.
Наконец, Metallic Dark Cinnamon - богатый бурый металлик. Нанесение и консистенция лака такие же, как и у собрата Metallic Burgundy. Мне кажется, придется очень к месту осенью, по оттенкам которой я уже немного соскучилась, так что это мой второй фаворит.
All in all, I'm kind of in two minds about the polishes. I reckon these are from 2 different collections, but that doesn't explain the difference in consistency of the shades. I enjoyed Pearl Turquoise and liked Metallic Burgundy and Metallic Dark Cinnamon, however, Pearl Orange and Pearl Violet leave something to be desired.
Подводя итог, о лаках я имею двоякое впечатление. Pearl Turquoise порадовал, понравились и 2 металлика - Metallic Burgundy и Metallic Dark Cinnamon, однако Pearl Orange и Pearl Violet оставляют желать лучшего.
