Vicerimus: My best of 2013

I actually love this kind of posts as I adore reading and making all sorts of lists, stats etc. I'm not sure why I didn't do it last year, but it's a new year to be gone soon, and this time I'm on the bandwagon!

Я очень люблю такой вид постов, поскольку люблю читать и составлять всяческие списки, подводить статистику и так далее. Не знаю, почему такого пост не случилось в том году, но зато в этом он есть!

First, I'd like to say that 2013 was a year of discoveries to me. This was the year I fell in love with linear holo, indie glitters (textures I wasn't initially overly excited about) and found myself an owner of a stash counting, it's time for me to face it, about 600 bottles of nail polish. Me, a girl who made her first order on transdesign about a year and a half ago, got those 60-something bottles and thought that was enough for her. Ha-ha... The other day my dad actually came up to me and asked whether it was time to go to Ikea and buy another Helmer...and he wasn't mocking me or making a joke! I thanked him and told him I was good for the moment (yeah, I'm still in denial and I may actually already need a second Helmer :D). And if that wasn't enough, I got my New Year present from him early, that is, today, and guess what? I now have an absolutely fantastic, superb, professional lightbox (there's a collage on my Instagram)! I already tried taking photos in it (the shot of Dance Legend polishes in the giveaway post was taken using it) and God, it was divine! To think that I neither have to mess with positioning of lamps anymore nor fiddle around with the white balance! Now where was I? Discoveries, yes.

Для начала хотела бы сказать, что 2013й стал для меня годом открытий. Я полюбила инди-глиттеры и линейную голографию, текстуры, которые в начале года мне едва ли нравились, а также вдруг стала хозяйко коллекции в порядка 600 бутылочек лака. Это я-то, девушка, полтора года назад сделавшая свой первый заказ на трансе, а когда те 60 с чем-то лаков пришли, подумавшая, что этого с ее хватит...ага, щасс. На днях ко мне подошел папа и спросил, не пора л нам в Икею за новым Хельмером, на что я его поблагодарила и сказала, что нет, места пока и в уже обосновавшемся дома хватает (да уж, я, видимо, до сих пор на стадии отрицания того, что полностью в один Хельмер моя коллекция, наверное, уже не поместится...). Ну и если этого мне было мало, то тут я досрочно получила своей подарок на Новый Год...в общем, теперь у меня есть совершенно потрясающий, необыкновенный, крутой профессиональный лайтбокс! Я уже опробовала его, и это восхитительно! Подумать только, больше не надо мучиться ни с расположением ламп, ни с балансом белого на фотоаппарате! Так вот, открытия, да.
